My Lighthouse was the first time I ever worked with a REALLY famous illustrator.
I got lucky - Lee Wildish is amazing . . . so talented, yet so humble. His work inspired me so hard!
My book design featured the quirky font Bicyclette; its wide proportions offset the tall trim we had, and complemented the
equally quirky characters—including the roundest, fattest cat that has ever graced the printed page!—that Lee created.
