I’m currently an Art Director and designer specializing in 4-color Illustrated books at Penguin Random House.
I use my hard-won expertise to elevate other creatives; to visualize an author's voice and add shine to an illustrator’s talent and hard work. I continuously seek to flawlessly merge text + art into a high-end book that bring readers joy, and pride to authors and illustrators. Myself, too!
I was born and bred in Trinidad and Tobago. That means:
I'm friendly! Some people say I talk colorfully. As a designer, I take that as a compliment ;)
I love food! A fed me is a happy me.

Football is a whoooole different sport, guys.
After an unrewarding stint in Fashion, I pivoted to Graphic Design and found my calling.
I started at Clarkson Potter—dream job!—designing mostly cookbooks with a side of gift and lifestyle. There, I met some of the most talented designers who exist + had exceptional bosses who quizzed me on point size, color breaks, and patiently taught me all the things they don’t teach you in design school.
Since 2020 I’ve been Art Directing all manner of Kid’s Books at what is now PRH Christian; many Picture Books, a sprinkle of Middle Grade and Chapter Books, a Board Book and I have crossed paths.
All in all, I’ve had the privilege to work at Penguin Random House for the past 10 years.
